Affiliate, sponsored, and user content still sit within the publisher’s page

Google explains that page content can include user-generated content, other advertisements, and links to other sites in its policies overview. Review the complete rendered page, not just the article body. Check sponsored modules, affiliate buttons, comments, embeds, and related links for accuracy, permissions, and policy concerns.

Disclose commercial relationships clearly and make sure a link label matches the destination. If visitors submit listings or reviews, moderate them and provide a correction or report mechanism. The publisher remains responsible for how these elements appear alongside the page.

Use SiteReadyScore to prioritize URLs for a whole-page inspection. Then manually inspect components that automation may not understand. The scan cannot determine whether a relationship is sponsored or whether your disclosure meets every legal requirement.
