INDEPENDENT ADSENSE READINESS FIX GUIDE
Website readiness fix guide
This check concerns whether a sampled page can be fetched and interpreted as expected. A detected signal is a clue about that response; it does not certify the whole site or determine AdSense eligibility. SiteReady Score is independent and cannot predict or guarantee approval.
1. Diagnose the cause
- Open the evidence URL in a private/incognito window on both desktop and phone. Record the final URL after redirects, the visible page, and any browser warning.
- If it fails, check the hosting dashboard’s service status, domain/DNS, SSL certificate, firewall or bot protection, and recent deployment or plugin changes.
- View page source and search for the specific item named in the finding (title, description, H1, viewport, language, charset, canonical, or robots). Confirm the signal belongs to the intended page, not a template fragment.
2. Apply the fix for this finding
- Use the check title and the scan evidence to identify the exact page or behavior at issue. Apply the category procedure above only if it fits the observed condition; a review finding may be acceptable once you confirm the context.
- If the issue depends on your CMS, hosting plan, legal obligations, or advertising account, use that provider’s current documentation or qualified support before making a site-wide change.
- Correct the setting in the system that owns it: CMS page/template settings for metadata and headings; hosting/DNS/SSL settings for access and HTTPS; SEO settings or the page template for canonical and robots directives.
- For WordPress, check the page editor, active theme template, and SEO plugin. Avoid outputting duplicate title, canonical, or robots tags from both the theme and an SEO plugin.
- Make one change at a time. Before changing redirects, robots rules, canonical tags, or global templates, save a backup and note the original value. If the page is intentionally private or excluded, do not remove its protection just to make this check pass.
3. Verify the result
- Clear relevant page, host, CDN, and browser caches, then reload the exact public URL. Inspect the final response and source again.
- Check important URLs in Search Console URL Inspection after Google has had time to recrawl. A successful live test does not mean a URL is already indexed.
- Run a fresh SiteReady scan and confirm the evidence now reflects the intended public page.

Before making broad changes: back up the site, record current settings, and test high-impact changes on staging when possible. Do not remove security, privacy, indexing, or ad controls unless you have confirmed they are incorrectly configured.
