Write a useful FAQ without duplicating the article

An FAQ should answer genuine follow-up questions that are not already clear in the main article. Collect questions from users, support conversations, and the steps a reader may still be unsure about. Put the direct answer first, then add the caveat or link needed to act. If the answer repeats a whole section, improve the original section instead of adding a duplicate FAQ.

Example questions after a guide to AdSense rejection might include: “Can a public scan see my Policy Center notice?” Answer plainly: no; the account is private, so the publisher must check AdSense directly. Then link to Google’s site status guidance. “Does a longer article guarantee approval?” Answer no and link to the page-readiness recommendations, which focus on relevant unique content and experience rather than a universal word count.

Use structured data only when it accurately represents visible page content and complies with current Search documentation. Do not add FAQ markup in hopes of forcing a search feature. Search presentation is determined by the search platform.

Add a contextual SiteReadyScore scan CTA when the FAQ answer concerns public-site signals. Do not place it after every answer; one well-placed next step is clearer and less promotional.
